With over two decades of experience, Mike Kelly brings to Reynolds Development and Management Group a wealth of first-hand knowledge gleaned from multiple leadership roles in planning, development, resort and club operations. Mike is a 20+ year veteran of Reynolds Plantation at Lake Oconee, GA, where he was instrumental in many of the initiatives that shaped the master-planned development into one of the nation’s most celebrated golf communities. Mike was responsible for the master planning, development, residential construction, architectural control, model home division, product development and all of golf and membership operations for Reynolds Plantation. He was also part of the development team that created the Ritz-Carlton Lodge and currently serves as the company’s Asset Manager for that hotel. Prior to serving in this position, Mike was the Senior Vice President of Operations for Reynolds Plantation. During this time, he oversaw all of the operational areas of the community including golf operations, golf maintenance, club operations, food and beverage, cottage rental, property owners association, security, membership, marinas and recreation. Mike also served as the General Manager of The Boulders Club in Carefree, Arizona for three years.
Mike is involved in a number of civic activities that include Chairman of Lake Oconee Academy School Board, former Chairman of the Advisory Board for Georgia College and State University’s hospitality program, Advisory Member of the Michigan State University Alumni Hospitality Board and Member of the Michigan State University School of Hospitality Real Estate Advisory Board. He is active in both the Urban Land Institute (ULI) on the Resort Development Council and Club Managers Association of America (CMAA).
Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree (1985) from Michigan State University’s school of Hospitality Management.
